Welcome!  A place for the whole family. The Discovery Patch is working on developing and opening an Interactive Museum where learning comes through play! Its a place for the whole family to come together, explore and discover the community and world around us. 

 

We have plans for a myriad of interactive zones such as the paper studio, creativity zones and workshops for all ages, science exploration, physical movement & construction areas, ocean themed sensory-based area, bubble factory, community square and many other areas to inspire the mind, while also being an opportunity for social interaction.

 

Family is important to us, so developing a museum right here in our home of Mississauga is equally important.  The intent with the museum at its heart is to bring the family and community together with a variety of learning and explorative areas with interactive and creative opportunities for all.

 

Our plan is to also have the museum be a commuity venue for other organizations to share their passion for education and appreciation of a variety of interests.

 

Currently we are building upon travelling exhibits that we have showcased in different venues such as the Bread and Honey Festival and the Mississauga Waterfront Festival.
